Third time’s the charm! Destiny’s award hat-trick in Rotterdam

Following her recent win in the OGAE poll and OutTV’s OutMusic Award, Maltese Eurovision representative, Destiny, yesterday managed to win yet another prestigious award created by the biggest Eurovision online portal, Wiwibloggs. The Wiwibloggs Scoreboard is a poll done between all the bloggers that collaborate with this portal. Their expertise in the Eurovision world is second to none and it is indeed an honour to follow in the footsteps of past award winners Duncan Laurence, Netta and Loreen.

With this award in hand it meant that Malta managed to bag three, out of three awards done by these entities and websites who carry out contests and voting sessions of their own, and this year.

Speaking about these three awards, Destiny stated that awards are a great token and she thanks OGAE International, OutTV and Wiwibloggs but she wants to remind everyone that wants to spread her wings, make her own choices and deliver a strong message – that of empowerment. She wants to celebrate her curves. She does not believe that her worth is determined by the size of the clothes tag she wears. “Not gonna give it up, ain’t changin’ my plans” sings the sassy, soulful, siren.

Destiny will perform ‘Je Me Casse’ during the first Semi Final of the Eurovision Song Contest, next Tuesday 18th May 2021, and will in fact bring the first semi final to a close, singing in position number 16!
